Cool Vibey hotel - small room
Location was great, I think roughly 10mins walk from Susukino station, and close to nearby recommended eateries (Garuko, Ramen Alley). Room wise, if you're packing light (small suitcase or day bag) then plenty of space, it's very tight with a big luggage. The whole hotel has a really cool vibe to it, the cafe is on the same floor as reception that runs 24/7, you can chill with a drink and their library (japanese and english).
room can feel a bit claustrophobic because furnishing are pretty much all touching together

Cozy, quality stay with minor drawbacks
Charming hotel with good ambiance. Rooms were clean and relatively spacious for Japan standards. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Good location. Hot water. Good wifi.
Considering they have a cafe, it would have been nice to have a free welcome drink for guests. They also don't allow outside food for guests in the lobby area (due to the cafe), so if you get food from 7-eleven, plan on eating outside or in your room. Seems a little stringent and unfair to not provide coffee or an eating area for guests who are already spending ¥10,000+/night... Minor inconvenience to go up to the room to eat a breakfast snack, then return to the lobby to buy a coffee.
